Technolution recently joined Microsemi Corporation’s partner program. This partnership will strengthen our offerings for providing challenging solutions for the defense, safety and security markets. Furthermore, both companies will join forces in the promotion of RISC-V: a new open standard that constitutes an alternative to ARM, Intel, MIPS and others. RISC-V has the potential to become the ‘Linux of embedded hardware platforms.’

Both Technolution and Microsemi are founding members of the RISC-V Foundation. Tutorial During the RISC-V Workshop
The first cooperation in this partnership is a hands-on tutorial at the RISC-V Workshop. The tutorial has been developed to run on the Arrow-built SmartFusion2+ Development Kit featuring Microsemi’s SmartFusion™2 SoC field-programmable gate array (FPGA), which will be provided to all registered attendees of the tutorial session. Jonathan Hofman will represent Technolution as the instructor of the tutorial ‘How RISC-V Can Make Your Products Safer and More Secure.’
